After reaching the peak and soaking in the incredible vistas, you'll carefully descend back to basecamp. Today is dedicated to rest and further acclimatization, crucial for your upcoming Cotopaxi summit attempt. Enjoy a leisurely morning at Tambopaxi, taking in the breathtaking views of Cotopaxi, the world's highest active volcano. In the afternoon, a transfer will take you deeper into Cotopaxi National Park refuge, situated at a higher elevation. Arrive around 3 PM, allowing ample time to settle in and begin your final acclimatization phase. A hearty dinner will be served at 5 PM, ensuring you're well-fueled for tomorrow's monumental climb.
